"When you’re a nurse you know that every day you will touch a life or a life will touch yours." ~Author Unknown
We were blessed once again by a visit from another one of our favorite nurses/angels from Seattle Children's Hospital. Cam made the trip out to Montana with her incredibly sweet sister Ann to visit our family and check out western Montana. I did my best to try and convince her that she should move over here :) The girls had so much fun with their two new "adopted grandmothers". Ann turned our little girls into princesses with the most beautiful hair and they brought all of us some great gifts.
Cam,
You are such an important part of our family. You showed Jesse and I so much support during the most difficult point of our lives. You did that while also loving on Irelyn and giving her the very best medical care we could have hoped for.
We were so sad to see them go but look forward to their next trip out west.
August 21, 2014 - Our little miracle turned 5! Irelyn came out of her bedroom in the morning and announced "it feels so good to be 5!". We had a very fun day with her best friend Bailey eating lunch at Mackenzie River Pizza, playing at the park and riding the carousel. That night when I was trying to get her pajamas on and she was in tears she announced "it is so hard being 5". Its amazing what 12 hours can do to a kid :)
Irelyn and her new Anna doll.
Irelyn, Bailey and Brooklynn
No surprise that Irelyn wanted a Frozen birthday party. I had fun putting it together and she was so excited to see all of it. We even played "Pin the Nose on Olaf" and "Guess the Number of Olaf Parts". It was a very fun day.
The end of the summer left us with one thing left on our Summer Bucket List. The girls and I headed out for a night (a cold night) of sleeping on the trampoline. It was so sweet while we were laying outside listening to the girls talk about how excited they were to sleep under the stars.
We now have a 1st grader in the house. Brooklynn loves school and does well. She is very interested in science and math and we hope this continues! We are so proud of her and know she will learn a lot this year from Mrs. Painter.
On a side note, Diego has been very sad this week during the day. He really does miss his girls and now we are all gone during the day.
Jesse had to get a selfie with one of his favorite girls.
The Beaudettes had another fun Labor Day weekend out at Miner Lake. Jesse's parents and brother all made the now annual trip for a weekend of camping. It is such a beautiful spot and the girls look forward to it all summer.
Irelyn was feeling a little frazzled so she decided to take a break and do some yoga :)
These next pictures completely gross me out but my girls had a lot of fun catching frogs with Uncle Jason. Yuck!
Our professional fisherman caught a monster of a fish!
Brooklynn was so proud of his fish and wanted to hold it!
After I took her First Day of School picture she said "now get my back side" :)
And we are now on the back side of this blog post. We are heading into bowling season and hunting season for Jesse and gearing up for Brooklynn's first year of competitive gymnastics. We are happy and busy!
Take care.
