Our Vegas Trip!!

Well I'm going to share some of the details of our Vegas trip but the juicy stuff won't be revealed because "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!" We arrived on Monday to a warm welcome at the airport from my dad. He was able to pick us up and take us to our hotel. Talk about a cheap taxi ride. Jesse had reserved a room that had a great jacuzzi tub in it and I enjoyed it every night we were there. Monday evening we went to an awesome Cirque du Soleil show called "Mystere". Jesse and I were blown away. The acrobatics, costumes, and hilarious clown made the show well worth the big ticket price. Plus we had front row seats!
Tuesday we wandered down the strip, did some shopping for Brooklynn, then headed to the bowling tournament at which Jesse bowled like crap. He was frustrated but able to blow it off after a "few" beers!
Wednesday was another day of just wandering around, shopping for Brooklynn, and a much needed nap back in our room. Then off to the bowling tournament again for singles and doubles at which Jesse bowled much, much better. After bowling my dad took us way out to the edge of Vegas for an amazing buffet that we'd been hearing about for several days. Unfortunately we showed up at 9:04 pm and they closed at 9:00. Bummer. We found another cafe for dinner and had a great meal and lots of laughs with Dad.
Thursday we went down to the Mirage, bought some show tickets to Terry Fator then walked through the Seigfried and Roy Dolphin Exhibit and Secret Garden. That was a lot of fun. I loved the cute dolphins and couldn't believe the size of the lions and tigers. We had an amazing dinner at "Stack", a great steak house in the Mirage, before our show. Terry Fator is a ventriliquist that sings, does impersonations, and is incredibly funny. We loved it. If anyone makes it down to Vegas I would highly recommend both Mystere and Terry Fator.
Then home Friday morning to an extremely excited little girl. We missed our Brooklynn and she definitely missed us. What a great trip!
