Celebrations!

December was filled with celebration after celebration with each filled with yummy food and lots of laughs.
I would have been more than happy with just the yummy food but Jesse and I were also able to spend lots of time with friends and family.  I do believe thats what the holidays are all about.
Jesse's office Christmas party was the beginning of December and we had a very good time catching up with all the attorneys. These attorneys are rightly separated into their own office spaces during the week but come Saturday night these "professionals" sure do know how to have a good time.

Mr. Serious Lawyer himself  :)

Wayne is a HUGE fan of Obama so he was super excited about the bumper sticker.

Erik and Kari (side note...Karie proceeded to have a beautiful baby girl 12 hrs after this pic was taken).
Erin Erickson and Wilton, discussing some interesting lawsuit I'm sure.

Fred and Liz Simpson, still in love.
The following weekend Brooklynn and I attended the Bitterroot Gymnastics Christmas party and once again had lots of fun with people that are crazy all week.  We get to do the Hokey Pokey on a regular basis.  :)

The leader of all the crazies...David Stark.

Doesn't Ainsley look wild and crazy?

Brooklynn took a break from playing in the gym for some...
of the "Best Chocolate Cake in the World", brought by Zach.

White Elephant Gift Exchange

Dave was less than thrilled to have chosen the "more responsibility, more food, more time" pets during the White Elephant gift exchange.

Jenne was excited to steal the fish from David.  It was a win-win situation.

The girls and I fit in an afternoon (20 minutes) of sledding out in our park.  We all had fun and nobody was ready to come back in the house, except me!

Christmas was a lot of fun this year and Miss Brooklynn made sure she was on the good list except for a few small infractions.  Santa did make his way to our house and we were all very spoiled.  It seems as though I also made it on the good list as Santa treated me very well.  I received a beautiful necklace from my two girls and a warm down comforter from my amazing hubby.  Thanks Sweetie!

I was happy that the one ugly Christmas sweater went to Tequila.

The Big Girl on Christmas Eve.  She was beaming with excitement.

Irelyn wasn't quite sure about the tearing of paper.

Irelyn's first car...pretty sure its alot nicer than my first car (my 1974 VW Super Beetle).  :)

We hope you all had a fulfilling and relaxing Christmas.  Here's to a wonderful 2011!!

  1. What's it going to take to get you to find and post the recipe for the "best chocolate cake in the world"? Not that I need chocolate cake but I sure do WANT some! It sounds absolutely divine!

P.S. Irelyn looks pretty confident behind the wheel! Watch out, Mom!
