There is a very cool park on the other side of town that we venture to every once in a while. It seems as though everything in the park (ok, almost everything) spins. This is very exciting for our children but Jesse and I have noticed that spinning is not nearly as much fun when you're old.
Jesse took the girls camping with his parents and called shortly before they left to come home to tell me "Irelyn fell and has a little scratch on her forehead" due to a fall out of the camper. By the time they arrived home an hour later the eye was purple and almost completely swollen shut. My Piglet is a tough kid though and didn't complain once.
Our backyard has made for some very pretty viewing this summer. We absolutely love where we live!
Jesse had four entire days off from work over the 4th of July so we planned a fun get-away for us and the girls to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We stayed at a hotel that had water slides, miniature golf, go-carts, bumper boats, rock climbing and an arcade! Fun was had by all.

Coeur d'Alene also has a very nice lake that made a beautiful setting for fire works, a first for Irelyn.

So much fun! Colin is going to have a hard time getting up for kindergarten too. He's figured out that sleeping in is fun! Ben, on the other hand, still gets up at 6:30.
