Michigan Trip

Brooklynn and I had a wonderful time back in Michigan. She was a pretty good little traveler and loved being on the airplane. It was difficult keeping her on my lap...which has gotten incredibly smaller. I felt like I was continually getting elbowed from the outside and the inside! While we were in Michigan we were able to see all of my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a few cousins. Brooklynn did great being around all of these new people and even learned all of their names. She had the most fun with Justin, my cousin. They played and played and she giggled and giggled. We were also able to visit the Lansing Zoo which was very neat because we don't have anything like that around us out here in Montana. Brooklynn loved the penguins and the birdies. It was while we were back in Michigan that I noticed how well she was combining two or three words. Her best line came when she went out on the deck to look for birds and said "Birdies, where are you?". I just love listening to her cute little voice!

Brooklynn was incredibly happy to be home and see her Daddy. She was glued to him and I could tell he was very happy to have her by his side all day. Those two are best buds. She is very lucky to have such a great Daddy.
